Robert A. Goldberg Endowed Faculty Prize in Humanities was established to support outstanding, high-impact tenured-faculty who have demonstrated excellence in either research, teaching, or service, and have significantly raised the profile of our College of Humanities. This award also honors Goldberg’s forty-year career as an inspiring teacher, devoted mentor of countless graduate students, a prominent scholar of American political history and, for thirteen years, director of the Tanner Humanities Center.
